Book a consultationYour most important document deserves expert scrutiny
Your annual report is likely the single most scrutinised document your organisation publishes. Analysts, investors, regulators, media, employees and your board all read it. You probably spend six figures producing it.
But when was the last time you assessed whether it's an effective communication tool?
We evaluate your annual report against our communication effectiveness framework, and provide recommendations to improve your report.

How well layout, typography and WCAG compliance support all readers.
Whether content is structured for different reading depths and easy navigation.
How effectively your report reaches audiences across digital and print channels.
How well AI tools can read, interpret and summarise your report content.

More about the Report Review service
What types of organisations use this service?
ASX-listed companies, government agencies, statutory authorities, NFPs and industry bodies. Our methodology adapts to your sector and regulatory environment.
Do we need to prepare anything?
No. We start with a short briefing to understand your reporting context and objectives.
How long does the review take?
Communication Effectiveness reviews take around 2 weeks. Reviews with peer benchmarking take 3–5 weeks.
What do we receive?
A detailed assessment report with scores, category-level commentary, plain English analysis with before/after examples, and a prioritised improvement roadmap.
Can you review our report before we publish it?
Yes. A pre-publication review gives you prioritised recommendations while changes can still be made.
How is this different from an awards entry?
Awards assess whether your report meets defined standards. Our review goes further to cover messaging, communication effectiveness, design, readability and competitive positioning. Report Review is a great way to prepare for award submissions.
Do you also write annual reports?
Yes. Our report writing and production service is separate. Some clients use both — a review to benchmark their report, then our writing team to implement the improvements.
How much does it cost?
Communication Effectiveness reviews start from $11,000 + GST. Trajectory and Market Position pricing depends on scope.
